This year, May 10th to 16th has been designated as Police Week in Ontario.
The Brockville Police Service is among the many Police Services that will also be kickin off it’s week full of events on May 9th, 2015. This year’s theme, DISCOVER POILICING, invites members of all our communities to discover the many ways their poilce services are serving their communities. It also encourages Ontarians from all walks of life to consider a rewarding and fulfilling career in law enforcement both as sworn and civilian members of police organizations.
This year, we are inviting citizens to get to know their police services and our officers better. We are urging everyone to “discover policing” – the many facets of law enforcement and community policing, the amazing work of so many of our officers and the rewarding careers that await those who embark on a law enforcement career.
As part of our commitment to the community, the Brockville Police Service will be participating in the following events:
May 9th – 10:00 am. – 2:00 pm. Emergency Prepardness Day at Kia Brockville.
May 9th – 10:00 am. – 3:00 pm. Prescription Drop Off at Brockville Police Service
May 10th – 10:00 am. – 3:00 pm. Mall Display and Information Session at !000 Island Mall.
May 14th – 7:00 pm. – 9:00 pm. Police Auction at the Brockville Memorial Center
May 15th – 8:30 am. – 2:30 pm. High School Police Academy, St. Lawrence College
May 23rd – 10:00 am. – 3:00 pm. Police Display at the Sidewalk Sale, King St.
