Fail to stop/Drugs
While on general patrol Brockville Police, observed a motor vehicle south bound on Stewart travelling in excess of 100 km/hr. Police subsequently attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver initially refused to pull over. The driver threw a package out the window as he travelled south up the overpass adjacent the Ford dealership. The vehicle stopped on Stewart at Brock Street. Police recovered a quantity of cocaine that had been thrown out of the vehicle. A 41 year old has been arrested and charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop for police and possession of cocaine. His vehicle was also impounded for 7 days under the Highway Traffic Act.
