Public Intoxication Arrest at Drive Thru
A 54 year old Brockville man was arrested Sunday morning after staff at Harvey’s discovered him passed out on the curb of the drive-thru entrance at the rear of the restaurant.
At 9:20 am yesterday morning staff at the restaurant contacted the Brockville Police after seeing the male seemingly asleep at the curb near the drive-thru entrance. When police arrived they found the man, who was known to the officers in an intoxicated state and not able to care for himself. He was arrested for public intoxication and brought to Brockville Police headquarters where he was held until sober and released with a fine and given a provincial offences notice.
Traffic Stop leads to Probation Breach
Traffic stop yesterday afternoon led to the arrest of the vehicle’s passenger for breaching his probation order.
At 3:20 p.m. yesterday afternoon Brockville Police stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Parkedale Avenue at Millwood Ave for a traffic infraction. While dealing with the driver the officer recognized the passenger of the vehicle and further investigation revealed he was currently on probation not to have communication with the driver of the vehicle.
As a result, he was arrested for Breach of Probation and conveyed to Brockville Police Headquarters and later released with a future court date.
