Warrants
Five different people were arrested on outstanding warrants.
On March 28, 2022 at about 7:45AM, the Brockville Police Service located a 36-year-old male in the area of Front Ave. who was known to be wanted. The male had an outstanding bench warrant for fail to attend court. He was arrested and released with a new court date.
On March 28, 2022 at about 8:00AM, the Brockville Police Service located a 25-year-old male in the area of Central Ave. who was wanted on an outstanding warrant. The male was facing charges of break and enter and fail to comply with release order. He was arrested and held for a bail hearing.
On March 28, 2022 at about 9:15AM, a 27-year-old male turned himself in to the Brockville Police Service in relation to an outstanding warrant. The warrant was a bench warrant for fail to attend court. He was released shortly after with a new court date.
On March 29, 2022 at about 4:00PM, the OPP had located a 47-year-old male outside of the City, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant held by the Brockville Police. The warrant was in relation to two counts of fail to comply with probation. He was taken to the Brockville Police Service and turned over. He was released shortly after on documents with a future court date.
On March 29, 2022 at about 11:30PM, the Brockville Police Service located a 21-year-old female in the area of Central Ave. who was wanted on an outstanding warrant. The warrant was in relation to charges of fail to comply with release order and fail to comply with probation. She was arrested and later released on documents with a future court date.
Theft of Gasoline
A male has been charged after multiple gas run-off thefts. On March 29, 2022 at about 9:30AM, the Brockville Police Service located a 41-year-old male who was identified as being responsible for multiple thefts of gasoline. Officers had identified the vehicle and the owner involved in the thefts and performed a traffic stop on the vehicle on Centennial Rd. The thefts were done on multiple dates where the male attempted to conceal his licence plate and face while fueling his truck. The male would leave the gas station making no attempt to pay for the fuel. The total amount of the fuel known to this point is valued at approximately $275.00. The male was arrested and charged with two counts of theft under $5,000.00. He was released with documents and a future court date.
