Impaired Driver
On November 5, 2021 police responded to a motor vehicle collision at a North end business located on Parkedale Avenue. The 65 year old operator of one of the vehicles was determined to be under the influence of alcohol and was placed under arrest for impaired driving. The accused later refused to cooperate with providing samples of his breath and was charged with impaired operation as well as refusal to comply with the breath demand.
Domestic Dispute
On the evening of November 6, 2021 a 24 year old man attended the residence of his ex-girlfriend in contravention of his court order. A physical altercation took place at the residence leading to further charges of assault, fail to comply with probation x3 and fail to comply with a Release Order. The accused was apprehended by police and held in custody for a bail hearing.
